"Location of hotel is very good with immediate access to Glasgow Central train station and walking distance to many sites and city centre. First impression of the hotel was that is was older and run down due to the worn carpeting and only one of three lifts working correctly. Room was fine other than the bars on the windows which obscured what could possibly have been a decent view. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and the desk clerk when I checked out was very helpful. Overall a good value if you are not looking for anything fancy."

"Only one consistently working lift. Hotel had the appearance of shabbiness due to the very worn carpeting. Difficult to get to room - one elevator working, VERY long walk down hallway which also included a set of stairs - this would be exceptionally difficult for anyone with mobility problems."
