Cosmopolitan Hotel

The Cosmopolitan Hotel has rooms with a DVD player, power shower, 24-hour room service and bathrobes (midweek only). There are luxury toiletries and chocolates on arrival. The £1.5 million refurbishment was completed in June 2009 and provided a new open-plan restaurant, bar and reception area. The Cosmopolitan Bar has 4 large TV screens with satellite channels and offers many wines and cocktails. Between 17:00 and 09:00 there is free parking at a nearby multi-storey public car park.

The parking bay opposite the hotel is for drop-off only. The car park for the hotel is called Q Park and is a further 150 metres down Swinegate, on the left-hand side of the road, just past BiBis restaurant. It is a multi-storey car park, not the adjacent flat, uncovered car park. On departing the hotel please ask for a voucher that will ensure on leaving the car park that overnight charges are deducted. The hotel covers all overnight charges between 17:00 and 09:00 only.

"Breakfast was good quality, although the quantity of items was limited to mall hash browns, scrambled egg,mushrooms, sausage, bacon, tomato and beans. There were no fried eggs. Therewas no coisants or patries, This is poor compared to other hotels I have stayed at."
