By Car: From Inverness (45 minutes): - Drive north on the A9 for 43 miles. - 2 miles north of the Dornoch Firth Bridge, turn right onto the A949. - It is then 2 miles to Dornoch. - The castle is on the square opposite the 13th century cathedral. By Air: The hotel is 1 hour from Inverness Airport. By Train: Trains are available From Inverness to Tain, which is a 10-minute taxi ride from Dornoch. By Coach: The coach from Inverness stops just along the street form the hotel.

The double/twin rooms are located on the ground and first floors in the modern Garden Wing of the building. The rooms overlook the attractively laid-out flowers beds and shrubberies. These rooms are comfortably furnished, naturally light and well appointed. Each room has an en suite bathroom with either a bath and shower or a large shower. The rooms either have one double bed or 2 single beds. Superior rooms are located in the 15th and 18th century sections of the property and also in the modern Garden Wing. All of the rooms have been refurbished, but retain their original atmosphere. The rooms either have one double bed or 2 single beds.
