The Cairn Hotel was built during Harrogate's period as a spa town, when people came from far and wide to take the waters. The hotel is 3 star rac rated and is located 5 minutes walk from the centre of town, 7 miles off the North/South a1 and 17 miles from the m1/m62. Set in 4 acres of private gardens, the hotel is just minutes from The International Conference Centre. Leeds airport is 12 miles away, and there is a railway station in Harrogate. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations to the lounge and lift, due to be completed by April 2007. Disruption is minimal.

Airport: Leeds - Bradford is 7.5 miles from the hotel
From London take the M1 to J32 onto M18. At J2 go onto A1(M) then A661 and A59 to Harrogate.
From Glasgow M74/A74 then M6 towards Penrith then A66 to Scotch Corner. Go South on A1 then take junction 48 (Boroughbridge) and follow A6055 to Harrogate.
From Newcastle upon Tyne take the A1 and A6055 as above.
The nearest Airport is Leeds/Bradford Airport which is served by regular flights from all over the country.
The train station in Harrogate is serviced by connections from London, York, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
