"Could have done with clearer driving directions, maybe a map. we were looking for a nice relaxed mini break, taking in the xmas market. We wanted a good location- within short walk of main shops/baths. Although had a little trouble finding hotel (we were directed in by phone and a very helpful member of staff) we were really pleased on arrival. It sits on a beautiful tree lind square with a traditional canopied entrance. The first impression was beautiful and classy. The room was comfortable although a little small, but had 2 armchairs. Shower, unusually, was superb. Bathroom clean and spacious. We were able to pop our shopping back throughout the day which was perfect. Thoroughly recommend pub around corner-Salamder. Great stay, great location, great value."
