A unique mix of traditional English and modern European styles, the cafè-bar is open from 09:00 – 23:00 Monday-Thursday; 09:00 – 24:00 Friday and Saturday; and 12:00 – 22:30 on Sunday for bar snacks, tea, coffee, traditional ales and lagers. The hotel offers guests the comfort of well-appointed stylish and spacious en suite or standard rooms (with a shared bathroom) in the heart of the historic university city of Oxford, within a stone's throw of all its attractions. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.

How to Book

Our instant, online booking service is fast, convenient and secure. We keep our availability up-to-the-minute so you can book your hotel online with complete confidence. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email with our details and directions - all you need to do is turn up!

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.

"Looking at the outside of the hotel for the 1st time I would have happily wasted my £80 and gone elsewhere. But we thought 'it's only for one night'. The advert for the hotel and bar said ale was on sale, the only 'ale' they did was Boddingtons. Very noisy with the loud music in the bar. Very unclean factor about the rooms, staff seemed to want to take your money and knowing you were there for one or two nights didn't seem to care. Breakfast was pathetic. Had a hair in my egg which was most off putting. With the location of this hotel in the heart of historic Oxford you would have thought that with all that potential they could have tried harder, such a shame. I would like to have been told that the rooms would have been very noisy."

"Badly needed redecoration. Had a very 70s feel about it. Very noisy at night as there is load music from the bar till midnight. Television didn't work, remote had no batteries. Bed very uncomfortable."
