Cedar Manor is on the A591 on the outskirts of Windermere village, next to St Mary's Church. The hotel is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute taxi ride from Windermere train station.

CANCELLATION POLICY: null COMMENTS: At weekends we offer a minimum stay stay of 2 nights, either Friday and Saturday or, Saturday and Sunday. For all public holiday weekends we offer a minimum stay of 3 nights. Table reservations for night of arrival must be made in advance. Pets are allowed in our Coachouse rooms, Coachman's and Farrier's, and must not be left unattended. The charge is GBP 5 per dog per night. Wireless internet is not yet available in the Coachouse rooms but is available free in the main hotel Not all rooms can accommodate children. Please notify the hotel first before arrival. A child sharing with only one adult will pay the same as an adult.

Orrest Head Suite has its own spacious sitting room with flat screen 32' tv & dvd player*, fridge and large walk-in closet, a bedroom with a king- size canopy bed and tv, and an ensuite bathroom with spa bath and separate power shower. Newly refurbished in June 2009 our four poster room now has locally hand-crafted furniture including a king size four poster finial bed. The room also features a brand new ensuite bathroom with shower bath, flat screen TV, DVD player, ipod/iphone dock, telephone, tea and coffee maker and a hairdryer.

Wansfell is a fantastic double executive room with beautiful hand-made furniture including a beautifully hand-carved four-poster finial bed. The room also boasts a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom with a spa bath and shower.

Lake Windermere and the Langdale Pikes can be seen from this room. The rooms contains locally made furniture and has original features, such as attractive arched windows. The room also features a king-size canopy bed and en suite spa bath and shower.

Coachmans is a large room on the ground floor of the converted coach house and as such, has its own private entrance.
