Windermere Boutique Hotel was originally a wealthy Edwardian gentleman's second home and has many attractive period features. The hotel is excellently situated for exploring the beauty of the local area. You can cross over the main Lake Road to start an enchanting and romantic woodland walk leading to a footpath beside Lake Windermere and the Steamboat Museum. Only a few minutes walk will bring you to the lake shore at Bowness where you will find boats for hire and steamers for lake cruisers, giving you time to enjoy the outstanding scenery.

By Car: - Leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow the A591 towards Windermere. - Turn off the A591 at Windermere. - Travel down the main road through the village where we are situated on the left-hand side, halfway between Windermere and Bowness.
