Rye Rail Station is 400 metres away and the lodge 100 metres from the Landgate, a monument built in 1326 as the entrance to the town. The Venetian Leisure Centre has a heated indoor swimming pool, an aromatherapy steam cabinet, a sauna and a spa bath. The conservatory has exercise cycles, a treadmill, seating areas and chilled water. The individually decorated rooms have satellite TV, tea/coffee, radios and telephones. Room service is available. The Venetian Leisure Centre opened in 2000. Rye Lodge Hotel is the only hotel in the town which has its own leisure centre. On entering Rye follow town centre signs past Rye station. After about 1/4 mile still following signs for the town centre, you will pass through The Landgate (an historical monument), then after about 100 yards you will find the Rye lodge on your right hand side. An unmissable building with red brick and green and white striped window blinds.
