From North: j40 from m6, follow a66 to the turning for St Johns in the Vale and then join a591 to Ambleside. Hotel is on the left after pedestrian crossing From South: J36 from M6, follow A591 to Ambleside. Follow one way system into town center, at lights turn right and the hotel is on the left.

Each of the rooms is charming and tastefully decorated, with one standard double bed that is 4 feet 6 inches (1.37 m)in width. Every room has an en suite bathroom featuring a power shower. Hotel rooms may be allocated anywhere in the hotel, including in the new extensions.

Each of these larger double rooms has a king-size double bed that is 5 feet (1.52 m) in width. Club Double Rooms feature upgraded comforts and facilities, including bathrobes, slippers, mineral water and a complimentary newspaper.

A standard double or twin room will be allocated for sole occupancy.
