Charing Cross is regarded as the official centre of London and is just outside the Charing Cross - A Guoman Hotel. On the Strand, metres from Trafalgar Square, the hotel is only a short walk from the restaurants, shops and theatres of the West End.
Built in 1865, the Charing Cross has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment, transforming it into a luxurious 21st-century hotel with original Victorian elegance.
The hotel has a well-equipped gym and the stylish, air-conditioned rooms have luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen, bathrobes and flat-screen TVs.
With impressive views over Trafalgar Square and the Strand, the hotel's restaurant has received an AA Rosette award. The lounge and bar feature live music on Friday evenings and room service is available 24 hours a day.
