Guest ReviewsJacqueline from Hollymount Ireland;IE gave Rodney Hotel a rating of Good "Like most hotels the single rooms are small. Initially I was allocated a room with shower, this was in poor condition, black with fungus/mildew. The second single which had a bath was sited over the boiler house and when the boiler fired-up the whole room filled with the noise. In all of this the staff were extremley polite and helpful and I was eventually offered an upgrade to a double room with bath. The room was spacious, clean and well serviced, 'ground coffee and loose tea' plus a nice selection of fresh fruit are a very nice touch. The general areas of the hotel are clean and the decor in good condition but the rooms are looking a little tired and could do with a coat of paint. I had dinner in the resturant and can not praise it highly enough, the food was 5 star and so was the service, the same applies to the breakfast." "The helpful staff and the fabulous food." "General update of room decor and bathroom fixtures."
