In the autumn of 2004, the hotel was beautifully transformed from a typical Victorian hotel to one that is modern and contemporary, whilst retaining many of its original features. The transformation also includes the contemporary Hg1 Bar and Brasserie, a very popular venue with both our guests and local residents.
There are eighty en suite bedrooms including eight luxury suites, which include lounge furniture, complimentary mini bar, towelling robes, slippers, fresh fruit, chocolates and magazines. All our bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard and offer comfort and style. The Yorkshire is perfectly situated in the heart of this beautiful spa town, with everything you need being in walking distance.
The train station is only a 3 minute walk away.

Guest ReviewsDavid from Melton Mowbray United Kingdom;GB gave The Yorkshire Hotel a rating of Good "The hotel hold a prime position in the centre of Harrogate, providing the guest with easy access to shops and other amenities such as the Turkish baths, conference centre, etc which are all within very easy walking distance. It is also literally directly opposite to the famous Bettys Tea Rooms. Inside there is a pleasant reception with comfortable seating. Adequate lifts provide access to rooms. As stated previously, our room was modern and comfortable with a view across the Park." "It was as described - reburbished in 2004. It was obviuos that the room had been updated to provide modern facitlites." "Although the bed was very comfortable, we both felt that the pillows left a little to be desired. We thought that there ought to have been one thickish pillow and one thin one, both with a little more support. However, they didn't spoil our nights sleep too much"
