If you have reduced mobility or small children in prams, please request an apartment on the lower floor. Membership to The Escape Gym and Cowshed Spa, at The Scotsman hotel, is also included. On Foot From Waverley Train Station : - Take the Market Street exit and when you come out onto Market Street, turn right. - Cross the pedestrian crossing and you will see an entrance to Fleshmarket Close. - Go up the stairs, then at the top you will see on your left the Southern Cross Cafe with a blue awning. - You will check-in next to this, at 65 Cockburn Street. - Check-in and then a receptionist will assist you to Royal Mile Apartments, which are at the top of Cockburn Street. By Taxi From the airport: The airport is 8 miles (12.9 km) from the Royal Mile Residence. A taxi should take approximately 20 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. By Bus From the airport: Take the Airport Express bus. This departs approximately every 10 minutes during peak times. Stay on the bus until it terminates on Waverley Bridge in the centre of Edinburgh. When you get off the bus, turn left and head across the road and up Cockburn Street. Check-in is located at 65 Cockburn Street, next to the Southern Cross Café.

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.

At the entrance to the apartments is an iron gate with a secure code. All apartments have a swipe card to gain entry. There is an entry phone inside each apartment.

The official residence of any Royalty visiting the Scottish Capital. Located at the bottom end of the Royal Mile a 5 minute walk from the Royal Mile Residence.

These apartments are beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. There is a super king-size bed, a luxury bathroom with Molton Brown products, a spacious lounge and a kitchen with either views of the Royal Mile or views from the top floor.

This apartment has extremely spacious bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed and one has twin beds. The twin beds can be made into a super king-size bed upon request. There is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and lounge with plenty of seating and fabulous views of either the Royal Mile or over the rooftops of Edinburgh to Princes Street.
