Latchmead Bed & Breakfast

The Latchmead offers free shuttles to the airport between 04:15 and 09:00, and early-starter breakfasts for guests leaving before 07:30. Built in the 1930s, Latchmead offers excellent overnight accommodation for guests. All rooms are recently refurbished, spacious and welcoming, featuring a TV and DVD player, a fridge, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

By Car - From junction 8, follow the signs for Bishop's Stortford town centre. - Keep following the road straight until you come to The Red Cow pub on your left. - Just after the pub is a set of traffic lights at a crossroads. - Turn left at the lights into London Road. Keep straight until you come to a mini roundabout; go straight over into Hallingbury Road. - Follow this road straight for approximately one and half miles. - As soon as you see the signpost for Little Hallingbury, slow down and indicate right. - Port Lane is the first turning on the right as you enter the village. Drive to the bottom of Port Lane; Latchmead is at the very end on the left.

Once you have made your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email with our details and directions - all you need to do is turn up!

Credit card details are required as a guarantee - your card is not charged until you finish your stay at the hotel.

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.
