The Beechwood Guest House

The Beechwood consists of two adjoined houses, one in which your hosts live and the other is completely for guest use. This gives you the independence of a hotel at sensible guest house prices. Situated in an ideal position for those passing through Prestwick International Airport. Early breakfasts can be arranged for early departures (please mention at the time of booking). Late check ins can also be arranged if noted at the time of booking. The Beechwood is surrounded by many golf courses, making us a golfer's haven. We are also in walking distance to the award winning town centre of Ayr, which boast many shops, bars and restaurants.

By Car (from Glasgow Prestwick Airport): - On exiting Glasgow Prestwick Airport, turn left towards the town of Prestwick. - After 400 metres, you will reach a large roundabout. Take the 3rd exit, heading towards the town of Prestwick. This is the A79. - This road changes name several times. - Continue on this road for approximately 1.25 miles (2 km) and you will pass a Shell petrol station on the left-hand side. - The Beechwood Guest House is on the right-hand side, approximately 200 metres after the Shell petrol station.

How to Book

Our instant, online booking service is fast, convenient and secure. We keep our availability up-to-the-minute so you can book your hotel online with complete confidence. You may book as many rooms as you like for any dates that you need. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email with our details and directions - all you need to do is turn up!

You will then need to select the dates you wish to stay for, and then go on to choose your rooms. You'll also need to provide us with your contact information and credit card details. Credit card details are required as a guarantee - your card is not charged until you finish your stay at the hotel.

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.

Robert Burns Cottage Famous Scottish Poet Set in Alloway next to Tam O Shanter Brig. Well worth a visit for Burns Enthusiasts.

Beautiful Castle set in lovely grounds with carefully tendered gardens. Fun for the kids too at the duck pond and in the outdoor adventure park

This spacious and light room can accommodate a third bed, making it suitable for use as a triple room or for a family of 4. The room can be set up with one double bed and 2 single beds. Please mention when booking if you require the second single bed. The quoted price based on 3 adults for breakfast or 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years old). Small extra charges apply if breakfast for 4 adults is required. The room has a pleasant outlook across to the Island of Arran.

The price quoted includes breakfast for two adults and three children. Extra charges may apply for more adult breakfasts. One twin room and one family room (double bed and single bed). An additional bed can be put in the twin room (suitable for a child only). Please note the Arran Suite is at the top of the house and not suitable for guests with disabilities. On a clear and crisp morning wake up and enjoy the views of the isle of Arran. You may find this to be one of the most wonderful experiences you have on your trip to Bonnie Scotland. Or perhaps you may enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, while watching the sun set over her beautiful mountains.
