All our 11 bedrooms have recently been extensively modernised and have private shower rooms as well as TV, telephone, trouser press, hair dryer, ironing facility, complimentary tea and coffee and complimentary drink from a decanter of Whisky and Sherry, The Allison House caters for business and leisure guests. Theatre Breaks, Golf Breaks and Edinburgh Weekend City Breaks are our speciality. The business traveller, too, will enjoy comfortable surroundings and easy access to the city centre and ring road. David and Anne Marie have owned the Allison House for 14 years and during this period have extensively upgraded it without destroying the elegance and history of the Georgian building.

How to Book

Our instant, online booking service is fast, convenient and secure. We keep our availability up-to-the-minute so you can book your hotel online with complete confidence. You may book as many rooms as you like for any dates that you need. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email with our details and directions - all you need to do is turn up!

You will then need to select the dates you wish to stay for, and then go on to choose your rooms. You'll also need to provide us with your contact information and credit card details. Credit card details are required as a guarantee - your card is not charged until you finish your stay at the hotel.

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.
