Of the Southcliff's 75 comfortable en suite rooms, half offer idyllic sea views, some with balconies. All areas within the hotel are accessible by lifts or stairs.
On arrival at The Southcliff you will enter our recently refurbished, spacious reception area with comfortable sofas, Chinese rugs, tastefully decorated in keeping with the architectural style of the building. Here, our friendly hotel reception team will greet you.
Once you have checked in, viewed your room and everything is to your satisfaction, feel free to explore the remainder of the hotel. We have Clippers, our comfortably furnished residents bar offering a wide variety of refreshments and snacks, whilst you sit and relax enjoying the panoramic views over to the French coast.

Directions to The Southcliff
By bus, train, or car it we are prominantly positioned 5 minutes from the bus station served by National Express, by train you have a choice of two stations Folkestone East or West and a short well posted journey from the M20.
By car The Southcliff is situated only 5 minutes from juction 13 on the M20 and 50 minutes from London. 20 minutes from both the market town of Ashford and the major port of Dover. Using the Channel Tunnel, Calais is less than an hour away. making us the ideal choice to pick up some duty paid and discover the historic Cinque Port towns.

How to Book
Our instant, online booking service is fast, convenient and secure. We keep our availability up-to-the-minute so you can book your hotel online with complete confidence. You may book as many rooms as you like for any dates that you need. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email with our details and directions - all you need to do is turn up!
You will then need to select the dates you wish to stay for, and then go on to choose your rooms. You'll also need to provide us with your contact information and credit card details. Credit card details are required as a guarantee - your card is not charged until you finish your stay at the hotel.
How to cancel
If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.
