The Great Central Railway, situated by the hotel, was one of the major rail networks connecting London with Scotland, used by famous steam trains like the Flying Scotsman.

By car from the M1 motorway:
Coming from the north:
- Exit onto the A6 and continue for Loughborough.
- Continue onto Leicester Road and turn left onto King Street.
- Take the 1st right onto Great Central Road, where you will find the hotel.
Coming from the south:
- Exit onto the A512 for Loughborough and continue till the end of the road.
- Turn right onto Swan Street and continue onto Leicester Road.
- Continue as above.
Parking:
There is free parking at the rear of the hotel.
