This privately owned country inn rests on the edge of beautiful woodland at the edge of the Peak District, only a 10 minute journey from Sheffield city centre.

Here, boutique style accommodation has recently been awarded 4-stars, hosting a Silver Award from Visit Britain Quality Assurance Scheme. All rooms are uniquely and individually styled, all en suite with king size beds, plasma TVs and stunning views across the valley. The Robin Hood is renowned for its seasonally changing menu that uses locally sourced produce. Enjoy real ales from micro breweries across the country. The Robin Hood Inn is not suitable for disabled guests. The rooms are housed in a historic building that does not have an internal staircase. The rooms are accessed by external stairs and there is no lift.

Directions

If you are using a satellite navigation system, ensure that you select the 'nearest crossroads' option. This will then bring you to The Anvil pub on Stannington Road. The Robin Hood is signposted from that point. By Car From the M1 South: - Leave the M1 at junction 33, taking the A630 Sheffield Parkway for Sheffield. - Continue onto the A57 and at Park Square roundabout, take the 5th exit onto Exchange Place. - Continue onto Castlegate, then Bridge Street and turn right onto the A61. - Continue onto West Bar and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit. - Turn left onto Gibraltar Street, right onto Moorfields and right again onto Penistone Road. - After about 1.4 miles, turn left onto Bradfield Road and at the roundabout take the 1st exit. - Turn left onto Holme Lane, then left again onto Stannington Road. - Turn right onto Wood Lane then right onto Myers Grove Lane. - Turn right onto Greaves Lane and after about 400 metres you will find the hotel. From the M1 North: - Leave the M1 at junction 36 and follow signs for the A61 Sheffield North. - Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout and continue to the next roundabout, taking the 2nd exit. - Follow the A61 for 3 miles onto the A6101 which is then signposted for Penistone Road. - Turn right onto Bradfield Road, which is signposted for Loxley and Stannington. - Turn left onto Holme Lane, then left again onto Stannington Road. - Continue as above.
