The Williams family is now in its 3rd generation of caring for our guests, many of whom have been returning for over 30 years. On 30th November 1986, the Williams family bought the Brinkburn Hotel, merged it with the Richmond Hotel, and renamed it the Ambassador Hotel. Today, the former hotel names are commemorated. The Bodnod and Tegwell are the names of one the Ambassador’s lounges and ground floor function room respectively. The Glyn Isa, Richmond, Baldwin and Brinkburn are names used for the spa rooms. Our other spa room, The Gronwen, is named after the house occupied by Jim and Freda Williams, who were the first generation of the Williams family to own a hotel.

Directions

From Chester: - Follow the A55 into Wales and for continue for Conway. - Pass Mochdre and exit onto the A470 for Llandudno. - Turn left onto The Parade and take the 2nd left onto St. George's Place. - Take the 1st right and you will find the hotel.

How to Book

Our instant, online booking service is fast, convenient and secure. We keep our availability up-to-the-minute so you can book your hotel online with complete confidence. You may book as many rooms as you like for any dates that you need. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email with our details and directions - all you need to do is turn up!

You will then need to select the dates you wish to stay for, and then go on to choose your rooms. You'll also need to provide us with your contact information and credit card details. Credit card details are required as a guarantee - your card is not charged until you finish your stay at the hotel.

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.
