The Morangie returned to private ownership in April 2008, after a number of years as a company-owned chain hotel. Shearer Hotels are a third generation Highland family with 14 years experience in the hotel business. Today, the hotel offers warm highland service with good local knowledge. Staff are attentive, obliging, honest and friendly.

Directions

By Air: There are direct flights from London Gatwick to Inverness airport several times a day by British Airways. There is one direct flight a day from London Luton to Inverness via Easyjet. Flight connections are available to Inverness via Edinburgh and Glasgow airports. Car rental is available at Inverness airport through Avis or Hertz. Tain is a 40 minute drive north of Inverness. By Public Transport: There are overnight and daily trains to Inverness and there are taxi, rail and coach links to Tain from Inverness.
