The White Star Tavern

The White Star Tavern is located on Southampton’s cosmopolitan Oxford Street, in the city’s historic maritime district. The building was completely renovated in 2007 and mixes original features with modern comforts and style. Rooms have laptop safes, king-size beds with luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen and minibars stocked with your favourite drinks and snacks. The flat-screen TVs have Freeview digital channels. The modern bathrooms have large showers. The White Star has received 2 AA Rosettes for the quality of its great-value food. Dishes are made using fresh local produce. The bar serves wines, award-winning ales and cocktails. This award-winning Southampton bar and restaurant launched its stylish new look in autumn 2007. The launch followed an extensive 3-month refurbishment programme that has transformed the former seafarers’ hotel into the height of boutique accommodation. Facilities include a fully equipped private meeting room for up to 16 people, a dedicated lounge and reception, and a trendy urban roof garden.

Credit card details are required as a guarantee - your card is not charged until you finish your stay at the hotel.

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.
