Euro Hostel Edinburgh Halls

Each year Euro Hostels lease apartments from the university while the students are on their summer holidays. For 2008, we have the prime property on offer. Kincaid's Court is situated about 5 to 10 minutes walk from Waverly Station. Located on the Cowgate, we are within easy walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Grassmarket and much more. All bedrooms are either twin or single rooms. Ample bathroom facilities are available in each apartment. There is also a communal lounge and kitchen. The kitchen is kitted out with sink, oven, fridge, freezer and microwave. We even supply all the crockery and cutlery, as well as your bed linen and towels. It is an ideal set up whether you are in town with a group or travelling on your own.

Directions

By Foot: The directions given are for what we consider to be the easiest walking route that avoids lots of steps and steep hills. A quicker route is listed below. From Waverley Station: Approximately 10-12 minutes walk. Take Market Street exit. Turn to your left under the bridge and head right up Jeffrey Street. Carry on and cross over the High Street (Royal Mile) onto St Mary's Street. Walk down the hill and turn right into Cowgate and continue along for about 200 metres. The reception is at Kindcaid's Court located on the left-hand side, corner of Guthrie Street and Cowgate. Alternatively from Waverly Station, you can take a right at the Market Street exit. Turn right up Cockburn Street, over the Royal Mile and down Blair Street to Cowgate. Turn right into Cowgate and the hostel entrance is on Guthrie Street, the first street on your left. From St. Andrew's bus station, head to Princes Street and then to North Bridge. Walk along North Bridge, across the Royal Mile and continue along South Bridge. Turn right into Chambers Street and then right again into Guthrie Street. The entrance to the hostel is located at the bottom of Guthrie Street on the left-hand side. Parking is available on-site. Please call ahead and our staff will be happy to book a place for you. Please be aware there is a charge for parking.

How to Book

Our instant, online booking service is fast, convenient and secure. We keep our availability up-to-the-minute so you can book your hotel online with complete confidence. You may book as many rooms as you like for any dates that you need. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email with our details and directions - all you need to do is turn up!

You will then need to select the dates you wish to stay for, and then go on to choose your rooms. You'll also need to provide us with your contact information and credit card details. Credit card details are required as a guarantee - your card is not charged until you finish your stay at the hotel.

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.
