Smart city hostel Edinburgh is situated just off Edinburgh's historic Royal Mile and a few minute's stroll from both Waverley Railway Station and the Airport Bus terminal. The Airlink, number 100 bus from the airport to the city centre, drops off at Waverley Bridge, Smart City Hostel is a few minutes walk. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes and a ticket will cost you 3.00 GBP for a single and 5.00 GBP for a return ticket. From Waverley Train Station - exit Waverley station using the Market Street exit - turn to your left, crossing the road and go up the Scotsman steps - at the top of the steps, turn right into North Bridge and walk a few meters until you reach the High Street (also known as Royal Mile) - turn left into the High Street - at the Radisson Hotel turn right down Blackfriars Street - Smart City Hostel is located on the Right Hand side at the foot of Blackfriars Street

How to Book

Our instant, online booking service is fast, convenient and secure. We keep our availability up-to-the-minute so you can book your hotel online with complete confidence. You may book as many rooms as you like for any dates that you need. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email with our details and directions - all you need to do is turn up!

You will then need to select the dates you wish to stay for, and then go on to choose your rooms. You'll also need to provide us with your contact information and credit card details. Credit card details are required as a guarantee - your card is not charged until you finish your stay at the hotel.

How to cancel

If you need to cancel a booking please go to the cancellation page. After you have made a booking you will recieve a reservation confirmation e-mail with a link to this cancellation page. All you need to do is enter your email address - you will then be shown your current bookings. To cancel a booking follow the simple instructions. This will inform us of the cancellation, and send you a confirmation email. Please note a cancellation charge may apply, depending on how far in advance you make the cancellation.
